Starting Specification of Crown narrow boats

available from 45 to 65 feet

Shell: by Reeves Boatbuilders, complete with bow flares, raised cants to fore and aft decks, centre mooring eye, tee stud to bow and rope dollies to stern, steel rear doors, inset fender eyes and sacrificial anodes. Rubbing strakes are welded top & bottom. The rear hatch can be a larger size for easy access and to accommodate extra crew. Side doors are fitted in the galley area to feed the ducks. Also included are pole & plank rack, bow lockers in front well deck and safety cabin edge hand rails.

Interior: Bilge area is treated with Waxoyl and ballasted with new 2’x2’ paving slabs, floor is 3” x 2” tanalised timber floor bearers fixed to give good air flow, decking is 18mm far eastern ply . All battening is tanalised timber and the whole of the cabin area is insulated with 25mm polyurethane spray foam, NOTE this is the only insulation method that creates a vapour barrier.

Engine: Beta Marine to suit boat length,with 3 year warranty.

Tanks: 100 gal. stainless steel for fresh water under fore deck and integral 65 gal. diesel tank in stern.

Windows: Windows & Portholes to customers choice in Satin Anodised Aluminium finish. Powder coating, gold anodising and large panes in laminated glass for security are available.

Front doors in solid oak with laminated glazing.

Vents: Brass mushroom vents giving high level ventilation, with low level ventilation through vents fore & aft, ducted through cabin linings to minimise draughts & give under floor ventilation.

Paneling& doors: Linings are oak or ash (or other veneer) faced ply with solid hardwood lippings hand finished with satin lacquer. All joinery, including the cabinet doors are made by us and we can supply any style you require.

Saloon: Fitted cupboards to take TV/sound system, large open plan area for free standing furniture.

Galley: Fitted Stoves 500-DIT T3 cooker, 12V 4 cu.ft. fridge, laminate surface hard wood edged worktops and stainless steel sink unit with cupboards under, breakfast bar & 2 bar stools.

Bathroom: Fully tiled shower with domestic size 760 x 760mm shower tray with bi-fold glass door, & thermostatically controlled shower, automatic shower drain pump & ventilation fan. Thetford cassette toilet with electric flush & ventilation fan above. Vanity unit with ceramic inset basin & monobloc mixer tap. Fitted laundry basket with storage shelves above, space behind for spare cassette. Small radiator.

Bedroom: Fixed double bed with interior sprung mattress, 2 large storage areas accessible from the front with further large storage area under bed accessed from removable slat panels.Two storage cupboards over bed with concealed reading lights. Full height double wardrobe.

Flooring: Carpet tiles are fitted in the bedroom, through to the galley & saloon and non-slip vinyl is fitted in the bathroom & engine room.

Heating: Eberspacher diesel fired boiler feeding concealed fin rads. & twin coil calorifier.

Electrics: 1 engine starting battery plus 4 domestic batteries. Custom Built 12V circuit breaker panel serving all power & lighting. Power outlets for fridge, pumps etc. Recessed downlighters to saloon, galley and bathroom. All cabling is designed and sized for low volt drop. 240V shoreline installation including 30mA RCD protection, 3 twin brass switched sockets.
